 With rapid construction Dimapur is fast losing its trees. At the same time increasing consumerism and improper garbage disposal makes our city unclean. As citizens of Dimapur, we have the responsibility to make our city clean and green. One of the best gifts we can offer our children is a clean environment to live and grow in. Here are a few ways you can help: - Plant trees (if possible make a resolution to plant a tree on your birthday) - As far as possible Avoid using plastic bags. Use a marketing bag instead. - If you see someone disposing garbage dirt in a public place, ask him politely not to. - Report to the police or concerned authority if you see people illegaly cutting trees. - Be aware about Government programs concerning the Environment in your city.
