 Everytime he gets up to speak in the Lok Sabha, he is well received. He lends voice to issues concerning the North East and makes it a point to speak in Hindi.Kiren Rijiju, the MP from Arunachal west, always had a political bent of mind. As a student he led social movements in his school and college days. Graduating from Hansraj college, Delhi, he studied law at Campus Law centre, University of Delhi. About his decision to join BJP, Rijiju says " it is the only political party where you can rise on the basis of hard work. There is no back door entry in this party." My endeavour is to make the whole world realise about issues ot the North East. The young MP says.Forget about common people even my fellow MPs do not know about North East India, he says. Rijiju has travelled to 120 countries so far. "No other MP has travelled to so many countries" he says. He is still to visit South America and Antratica.  |
