| Charity concert for NC Hills |

 Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): Music Channel Nagaland (MCN) in collaboration with Dementia and NPMHR is organising a rock concert for charity in aid of victims of violence in NC Hills on July 18. DJ Tali proprietor of MCN and band members of Dementia at a joint press briefing at Hotel Saramati on Saturday said that all the funds generated from the concert will go to charity. The concert dubbed “Metal on a Mission 2009, For the Cause of NC Hills” will be held at Town Hall, Dimapur. Prices of the tickets for the concert had been fixed at a flat rate of Rs 50 of which they will be printing 1000 copies said DJ Tali. “Goodwill donations from concerned individuals will be graciously welcomed” he added. Town Hall having a capacity of only 600 seats Tali said that they will be setting up two giant LCD screens outside to accommodate extra people. Also Melodrama, runner up at the Campus Rock Idol (2008) and other solo artists will be performing at the charity event it was informed. Dementia consisting of Akinoto (vocals), Lanu (drums) Bendang (bass) and Moa (guitars) was formed in March 2008 with Inakhu as manager. In a span of only one year the head bangers has won quite a many acclaim. To name a few they were winners at the Music Safari-Dimapur (2008) and winners at the recently concluded All Nagaland Rock Contest (2009) besides others.
