NSCN-IM Kyong region warns |

DIMAPUR, JAN 12 (EMN): The NSCN-IM Kyong region has sternly warned the staff manning government civil hospitals, community health centers, primary health centers or any government health related centres within Kyong region that their functioning is under scanner.
In an ‘ahza’ issued by the CAO Kyong Region Jospeh Lotha and Secretary Opon H Kyong, a copy of which was made available to the press this evening, the NSCN-IM warned that it would not hesitate to penalize heavily any government employees found neglecting their duty, as their apathy is taking a toll on public health.
In the interest of the students’ community, it also cautioned that dereliction of duties by teaching staff of government schools under Wokha district would be shown zero tolerance and exemplary punishment awarded as per the law of the land.
Moreover, it what it said was keeping in view the prevailing situation of the Kyong (Lotha) region and the greater interest of the general public, the NSCN-IM ordered all restaurants to down shutters after 6.30 pm, cautioning that non-compliance would invite severe punishment.
Meanwhile, the Kyong region of the NSCN-IM condemned the ‘ongoing taxation at gun point’ allegedly lead by the Chairman of Lotha Region ‘Kehoi campers’ in the Kyong area under the cover of peace, unity and reconciliation.
Any attempt, be it territorial or monetary gain, taking advantage of the reconciliation move by the Naga political groups shall be counter productive, it stated while cautioning that it will use every reasonable force at its disposal to thwart any such move of ‘Kehoi camp.’
‘The Kehoi campers are to heed this warning and leave Kyong area immediately for the sake of peace in our land,’ the NSCN-IM directive further stated.
