Padma Shree for K. Asungba PDF Print E-mail
Dimapur, Jan 26(NPN): K. Asungba Sangtam, former Lok Sabha MP from Nagaland was among the Padma Shree awardees at the 60the Republic Day celebrations held in New Delhi Monday for his contribution in Public Affairs. Mr Sangtam is also the recipient of the All India “Best Cadet” in NCC at Republic Day Parade, 1966,Governor’s “Commendation Certificate” for outstanding performance in NCC, 1967, Certificate of “Excellence for Outstanding Services”, Achievements and Contributions, India International Friendship Society, 2001; The Best Citizens of India Award, International Publishing House, 2002.
