Dimapur, December 23: The NSCN (IM) is thanked for releasing on December 11, one Khevishe Chishi, said to have been abducted by the outfit on November 24. The Kiyekhu Ghami Welfare Society in a message said that the NSCN (IM) has set an example by showing “love and care” to Chishi and also extending kindness to him ‘in every aspects’. The organization prays that such a gesture of ‘love and care’ would continue even in the days to come.

In a separate note of “declaration”, Khevishe Chishi declared that from December 23, he would not continue to work in any of the underground factions directly or indirectly, ‘but maintain my status as the general public’. “I was abducted by the NSCN (IM) on 24th November 2008 and released on 11th December 2008. I am deeply grateful that the NSCN (IM) organization did not harm me in any way, instead their kindness and care surprised me and I pray that they may continue this gesture even in the days to come. May God bless NSCN (IM)” he added.
