Kalam to grace Children’s Science Congress |

Kohima, December 23: Former president of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam will grace the inaugural function of the 16th National Children’s Science Congress 2008 at Dimapur on December 27. The event will take place at the Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School, Thahekhu/Kevija-u in Dimapur. Minister for School Education Nyeiwang Konyak will grace the occasion as the guest of honor.
Meanwhile, Nipusilie Angami, Director of School Education informed that all the government science teachers and students of classes 9 to 12 in Dimapur and Kohima “are mandatory to attend the function.” To be held under the focal theme “Planet Earth – Our home: Explore, share and care,” the National Children’s Science Congress will be hosted by Nagaland Institute of Health Environment & Social Welfare and Government of Nagaland. Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School and Delhi Public School, Dimapur will be co-hosting the event. The programme will continue till December 31.(Morung Express)
