Azo inaugurates DMC upgraded road in Hazi park |

Dimapur, Feb 17(NPN): Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Kuzholuzo inaugurated the black topped road constructed under the initiative of Dimapur Municipal Council at Hazi Park, Dimapur on Wednesday in presence of DMC members, representatives from Dimapur business community and residents of the area.
Azo, speaking on the occasion lauded DMC for various developmental activities undertaken in Dimapur and said Dimapur Municipal Council under the leadership of its chairperson was doing a commendable job and encouraged civic body councilors to go for further developments in all 23 wards of DMC. He also assured to extend help to the civic body in future.
Azo further said that government alone was not always in position to go for developmental activities in the state due to limited budget even to state government; however the government had been trying its best to undertake developmental projects and activities.
He also thanked civic body for undertaking developmental works with meager funds available at their disposal. DMC chairperson Khekaho Assumi, speaking on the occasion thanked the minister for health and family welfare for availing himself for welfare of the people of Dimapur town.
DMC chief also described him as one of the most capable leader in the current state government and a real role model for youth of the state through his example and hard work.
It might be mentioned that Azo was awarded the most workaholic legislator by central government.
