Fire kills four at Noklak |

Dimapur, February 18 (MExN): Four persons were reportedly burnt to death during the burning of field for Jhum cultivation at Noklak on February 18 between 10:00am to 10:30am. Those killed in the fire were identified as S Monshai (37 years), Necchai (35 years), Shongmo (12 years) and Temisi (27 years). While informing this, ADC for Tuensang, Sotsula, in a press release stated that P Longon, Minister for soil & water conservation, land record, and Parliamentary Secretary S Heno gave Rs.40,000 to the next of kin and relatives of the fire victims as immediate relief.
