Dimapur, March 23 (MExN): Dimapur district administration held a meeting in connection with Traffic Regulation in Dimapur on March 5 at the Deputy Commissioners’ conference hall. The meeting discussed about the representation submitted by the Dimapur Cycle Rickshaw Union requesting the authority to review the order issued by the SP office Dimapur. The order stated that hand pull carts and cycle rickshaws were restrained from plying on GS Road from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. After much deliberation, the house agreed that the restriction on plying of hand carts (Thellas) and cycle rickshaws would be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The meeting was also attended by MLA and advisor co-operative & sericulture Azheto, SP Dimapur Liremo, Anoop Khinchi, IAS, Deputy SP (Traffic), EAC (TPT), Chamber of Commerce and president of Truck Union/Cycle Rickshaw Union. This has been informed here in a press note issued by EAC Amentoli Anar.
