DIMAPUR, MAR 28 (NPN): According to a comparative crime statement issued by the crime branch, a total of 65 extortion and 40 kidnapping cases were registered at all the police stations in Dimapur for the year 2009. A total of 131 persons were also arrested in both cases for the same period.
For the month of January and February this year, a total of five kidnapping and seven extortion cases have already been registered and 13 persons arrested in both cases till date. Of the five kidnapping cases this year, four have been already solved. Month Crime Head.
