DIMAPUR, APR 8 (EMN): The Naga Army, NSCN-IM, today asked for cooperation from the people in tracking down the ‘anti-national group’ or ‘criminal gang’ who are turning the commercial capital Dimapur
into ‘criminal capital’ by indulging in tax collection and looting using the names of some revolutionary groups.
PRO, Naga Army, Col. Levi Zimik in a press release said nothing can be more intolerable than when the peaceful atmosphere as brought about by FNR’s reconciliation process is exploited by criminal minded individuals.
Without naming any specific group or individual, Col. Zimik said the gang of individuals are collecting taxes and even running dealership of some business in the name of revolutionary groups.
Warning that the days of the ‘gang’ is numbered and it is just a matter of time before they are caught, he said ‘No mercy need to be shown against this gang when caught and exposed.’ ‘It is a challenge and it is a responsibility of Naga Army to go against this gang, and eliminate them once and for all,’ as peace should not be criminalized and hard earned peace should be maintained at any cost, he stated.
