Girl found loitering at 4th Mile PDF Print E-mail


DIMAPUR, JUNE 23 (MExN): A girl in her mid-teens was found loitering at the 4th Mile junction near the Central Jail, Dimapur Wednesday afternoon, June 23. According to the Women Cell, Dimapur the girl was handed over them by the Diphupar police station after she was brought to the Diphupar PS by some concerned citizens.

The girl, who could barely tell her name, cannot speak ‘Nagamese’, Hindi or English. When she was gestured to write down her basic background information on paper, she was only able to scribble her name and her father’s as “Chow Sai” and “Ksau”. Beyond that she could not provide any. The girl is believed to be of sound mind and hearing, except that she was not responsive to any queries or gestures put to her.
