DC Dimapur on collection of money at Highways PDF Print E-mail
Dimapur, July 27 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur Maong Aier in an office order received here reiterated for strict compliance stating that there shall not be any collection of money at any part of the National/State Highways by any union/organisation or government departments. No office or offices by any nomenclature such as ‘sub-centre’ or ‘information centre’ shall be allowed to be set up along the National/State Highways and any legitimate fees of various union/organisations shall be collected from their respective offices only located away from the National/State Highways.

The DC Dimapur said that the order has been issued in the interest of the general public, the order of the Chief Secretary No.CS/2/ADMIN/2009, dated Kohima, June 22, 2009 and also Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur order No.TPT/UNION/98 (pt) dated 28th May, 2010. Further, the office added that violators of government orders shall be arrested and penalized as per the provision of law.
