Naga Idol 5.10: Five days of public voting left |

DIMAPUR,NPN: The second elimination round of the Naga Idol 5.10 is scheduled to be held on September 3, 2010 at the Mokokchung Channel Hall (Studio); the public voting for the second elimination round will close on August 31, 2010. The district partners of the Naga Idol 5.10 under the strict supervision of the district administration, like before, will count the voting cards cast by the public of the respective districts. With only five days to go until the public voting closes, the fate of eight contestants will be decided within the next five days. However, the All Nagaland Cable Operators Association (ANCOA) has taken the task of relaying the video song recording of the top twenty Naga Idol 5.10 contestants all over the state. A limited edition of the VCD song recording with five free voting cards is also being sold successfully in the market.
Nonetheless, the top twenty contestants would be reporting at Mokokchung on August 2; Hunting Boots Inc –official organizer of the Naga Idol 5.10 – has made elaborate arrangement for accommodating the contestants and judges at Mokokchung. The elimination round would be held at August 3, 2010 and thereafter the song recording of the top twelve Naga Idol 5.10 contestants would begin. However, this time the song recordings would be on ‘Gospel Music’ – as a tribute to Churches which has played a positive role in the field of music in the society. It has been found that the Naga Idol 5.10 contestants discovered their talent in singing in Church platforms, and it is this church platform that has brought them thus far, when it comes to singing in public. Besides, the Hunting Boots Inc members also found it appropriate to give a fitting tribute to Churches with regard to singing and moulding the personality of the Naga youths – since the Hunting Boots Inc were also devoted Christian youth leaders working for the Mokokchung Town Ao Baptist Church.
Like the Elvis Night – For the Good Times” (held in August 9, 2010), Hunting Boots Inc is also planning a night of country music in Mokokchung for the contestants; however, this time the song presentation by the contestants would be more professional and the videos produced out of the “Country Night” would be converted into state-of-the-art VCD which will be sold in all the markets of Nagaland, targeting especially the rural masses, who do not have access to cable TV.
Meanwhile, the mentor for the Naga Idol 5.10 top twenty contestants for the second elimination round would be Tali Angh (musician and entrepreneur, and also a judge at the Naga Idol 5.10). Hunting Boots Inc has roped Lipokmar Tzudir, Dr Tolto and Tali Angh as the judges for the second elimination round of the Naga Idol 5.10.
