Imkong arrested in Nepal with a bag full of cash PDF Print E-mail
ImageKathmandu, June 29: Nagaland Home Minister Imkong L Imchen was on Wednesday detained at Kathmandu airport with a bag full of Indian currency.

As per media reports, Imchen was carrying Rs 9 lakhs in 500 & 1000 rupee denominations – Indian currency of these denominations are banned in Nepal.

Sources said the Indian government is looking into the issue.
